| Scope |
Physics has developed modern views of nature for more than a century. In addition to this traditional role, physics, especially the quantum physics has acqured new significance in the 21st century as the field responsible for driving and supporting nanoscience research, which will have even greater importance in the future because nanoscience will be the academic foundation for new technologies. The Symposium will provide an international forum for open exchange of topical information and for stimulating discussions on novel concepts and future prospects of nanoscience and quautum physics.
Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to:
Category 1 : Novel nanostructure (Nanowires, Nanotubes, Spin-related structure,
etc.)
Category 2 : Characterization and observation (Nanoprobes, Coherent control,
etc.)
Category 3 : Electronic and optical properties of nanostructure
Category 4 : Theory and new concept
Category 5 : Quantum Physics (Quantum information, Nuclear Physics, Astrophysics,
etc.)

| Abstract |
The abstract, including all text, equations, tables, figures, and references,
should be written in English and fit on a single page in A4 paper. Please
use one of the templates, template.doc or template.tex, for the abstract
preparation. One page abstract should be uploaded through the following
web page:
by no later than February 5, 2009. The authors are requested to indicate
an appropriate category number listed in the topics. Please choose “others” if your abstract is not directly related to the
listed topics. The abstract should be prepared as an MS Word or a PDF file.
If the authors have any inconvenience to produce PDF files, LaTeX files
are accepted, but the graphic files should be supplied in Encapsulated
Postscript or TIFF format. Please use default fonts without special fonts,
in either case. Abstracts and figures will be printed in black and white.
Notification of acceptance of paper will be sent to the corresponding author
by February 16, 2009.
